სრულიად საქართველოს კათოლიკოს-პატრიარქის ილია მეორის მიერ დაფუძნებული ფონდის „გაამწვანე საქართველო“ ორგანიზებით, თბილისის 175-ე და 131-ე სკოლების ტერიტორიაზე მოსწავლეებმა ფიჭვის ხეები დარგეს. გამწვანების აქციაში საქართველოს განათლებისა და მეცნიერების მინისტრი თამარ სანიკიძე, ფონდის "გაამწვანე საქართველო" გამგეობის თავმჯდომარე გიორგი სვანიძე, განათლების სამინისტროსა და საპატრიარქოს წამომადგენლები მონაწილეობდნენ.
ფონდის დირექტორის განცხადებით ფონდს, რომელსაც დარგული აქვს ათასობით ხე, აგრძელებს როგორც დედაქალაქის ურბანული სივრცის ისე, ქვეყნის რეგიონებში გამწვანებით სამუშაოებს. საქართველოს განათლებისა და მეცნიერების სამინისტრო აქციის მხარდამჭერია და მომავალში აქტიურად გააგრძელებს ფონდთან თანამშრომლობას.
