მართლმადიდებელი ეკლესია დღეს მაცხოვრის შობის დღესასწაულს აღნიშნავს. ამასთან დაკავშირებით, ყველა მოქმედ მართლმადიდებლურ ტაძარში საზეიმო ღვთისმსახურება ჩატარდა.
სრულიად საქართველოს კათოლიკოს-პატრიარქმა, უწმინდესმა და უნეტარესმა ილია მეორემ საზეიმო წირვა სამების საკათედრო ტაძარში მღვდელმთავრებთან ერთად აღავლინა.
წირვის დაწყებამდე, ილია მეორის საშობაო ეპისტოლე არქიდიაკონმა დემეტრე დავითაშვილმა წაიკითხა. პატრიარქი ეპისტოლეში ცოლისა და ქმრის პასუხისმგებლობასა და ოჯახურ ურთიერთობაზე საუბრობს.
