საქართველოს კომუნიკაციების ეროვნული კომისია 2016 წლის 2-3 თებერვალს EaPeReg ქსელის ექსპერტთა სამუშაო ჯგუფების პირველ სამუშაო შეხვედრას უმასპინძლებს. ექსპერტთა სამუშაო ჯგუფებში გაერთიანებულნი არიან აღმოსავლეთ პარტნიორობისა (აზერბაიჯანი, ბელორუსი, მოლდოვა, საქართველო, სომხეთი, უკრაინა) და ევროკავშირის (გერმანია, ლიტვა, პოლონეთი, რუმინეთი) ქვეყნების ელექტრონული კომუნიკაციების მარეგულირებელი ორგანოების წარმომადგენლები. ჯგუფებში იმუშავებენ, ასევე, მაკედონიის ელექტრონული კომუნიკაციების სააგენტოს ექსპერტები. თბილისის შეხვედრის მიზანია ჯგუფების სამუშაო გეგმისა და ფორმატის შემუშავება და დამტკიცება, ევროპის ექსპერტთა ჯგუფების გამოცდილების გაზიარება, შესაბამისი საერთაშორისო ორგანიზაციების საქმიანობის განხილვა და სხვა. შეხვედრებს გახსნიან საქართველოს კომუნიკაციების ეროვნული კომისიის თავმჯდომარე ვახტანგ აბაშიძე და ამავე კომისიის წევრი მერაბ ქათამაძე.
