საყოველთაო ჯანდაცვის სისტემაში არსებულ ხარვეზებზე ჯანდაცვის მინისტრის შემდეგ, ჯანდაცვის კომიტეტის თავმჯდომარის პირველი მოადგილე საუბრობს.
დიმიტრი ხუნდაძის განმარტებით, სამინისტრო წელიწად-ნახევრის განმავლობაში სხვადასხვა კლინიკებში მონიტორინგს ატარებდა, ხარვეზების აღმოჩენის შემთხვევაში კი მათ რეკომენდაციებს აძლევდა. თუმცა, როგორც ხუნდაძე აცხადებს, კონკრეტულ სამედიცინო დაწესებულებებს შენიშვნები ამ დრომდე არ გაუთვალისწინებიათ. მისივე თქმით, თუ ამ კლინიკებში პრობლემები დროულად არ მოგვარდება, ისინი სახელმწიფო პროგრამას გამოეთიშებიან.
