ამერიკის შეერთებული შტატების სენატმა გენერალი ჯეიმს მეტისი თავდაცვის მდივნის თანამდებობაზე დაამტკიცა. მის კანდიდატურას მხარი სენატის 98 წევრმა დაუჭირა, წინააღმდეგი მხოლოდ ერთი იყო.
