საბავშვო ევროვიზიის სიმღერის რიგით მე-15 კონკურსი საქართველოში ჩატარდება. აღნიშნულთან დაკავშირებით საზოგადოებრივი მაუწყებლის პრესცენტრში პრესკონფერენცია გაიმართა. პრესკონფერენციას დაესწრნენ ტურიზმის ადმინისტრაციის ხელმძღვანელი გიორგი ჩოგოვაძე, ეკონომიკისა და მდგრადი განვითარების მინისტრის მოადგილე ქეთევან ბოჭორიშვილი, საზოგადოებრივი მაუწყებლის მედიისა და კომუნიკაციის ბლოკის დირექტორი თინათინ ბერძენიშვილი და 2017 წლის საბავშვო ევროვიზიის პროექტის ხელმძღვანელი სერგი გვარჯალაძე.
Georgia to host the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the Georgian Public Broadcaster, GPB, have confirmed that Georgia will host the 15th Junior Eurovision Song Contest in November 2017.
A press conference about the news was held at press center of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB). Giorgi Chogovadze, Head of Tourism Administration, Ketevan Bochorishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Tinatin Berdzenishvili, Head of Media and Communications Bloc of GPB and Sergi Gvarjaladze, Head of Junior Eurovision Project attended the conference.
JESC will be held for the 15th time in 2017.
Georgia has won the Contest, a record three times.
Georgian contender group "Bzikebi" (Wasps) won the 2008 JESC, which was held in Lemesos, Cyprus.
Group Candy won the 2011JESC, which took place in Yerevan, Armenia.
Georgian participant Mariam Mamadashvili won the 2016 JESC, with the entry song "Mzeo" (Sun).
