მიუხედავად იმისა, რომ ყველა მსგავსი შემთხვევა აღირიცხება, ერთიანი სტატისტიკა იმაზე, თუ რამდენი ბაღის და სკოლის აღმზრდელი დაითხოვეს დისციპლინური გადაცდომის ან ძალადობის გამო, არ არსებობს.
სკოლამდელი აღზრდის 61 დაწესებულების მონიტორინგი სახალხო დამცველის ოფისმა 2014 წელს ჩაატარა. დოკუმენტში პირდაპირ წერია, რომ 70 %-ში დაფიქსირდა ფსიქოლოგიური ძალადობის შემთხვევები, 40%-ში ფიზიკური დასჯის ფაქტი.
