საქართველოს მთავარი პროკურატურა ირაკლი შოთაძის გადადგომის შესახებ მედიაში გავრცელებულ ინფორმაციას ეხმაურება და სპეციალურ განცხადებას ავრცელებს.
უწყებაში მიიჩნევენ, რომ მსგავსი სახის ინფორმაციის გავრცელება ხდება მიზანმიმართულად და საზოგადოების შეცდომაში შეყვანას ემსახურება.
„მედიასაშუალებებში ცოტა ხნის წინ გავრცელებული ინფორმაცია საქართველოს მთავარი პროკურორის მიერ თანამდებობის დატოვებასთან დაკავშირებით არის სიცრუე და არ შეესაბამება სინამდვილეს. მიგვაჩნია, რომ მსგავსი სახის ინფორმაციის გავრცელება ხდება მიზანმიმართულად და ემსახურება საზოგადოების შეცდომაში შეყვანას. საქართველოს მთავარი პროკურორი ირაკლი შოთაძე მუშაობას ჩვეულ რეჟიმში აგრძელებს" - აღნიშნულია საქართველოს მთავარი პროკურატურის განცხადებაში.
