ქართველი ძიუდოისტი, გურამ თუშიშვილი ბაქოს გრანდ სლემის გამარჯვებულია. თუშიშვილმა მძიმე წონით კატეგორიაში მთლიანად ტურნირს მოგებას მხოლოდ 5 წუთი და 59 წამი მოანდომა.
ფინალში 22 წლის ქართველის მეტოქე გამოცდილი უნგრელი ბარნა ბორი გახლდათ.
თუშიშვილმა ჯერ ვაზარი აიღო, რამდენიმე წამში კი მეტოქე იპონზე დააგდო. ამ წარმატების შემდეგ, გურამ თუშიშვილმა 1000 სარეიტინგო ქულა გამოიმუშავა და მსოფლიო კლასიფიკაციაში საგრძნობლად დაწინაურდა.
ბაქოს გრანდ სლემზე, საქართველოს ნაკრებიდან, რომელიც გადახალისებული შემადგენლობით ასპარეზობდა, სამი ბრინჯაოს მედალი, ლაშა გიუნაშვილმა, უშანგი მარგიანმა და ონისე ბუღაძემ მოიპოვეს.
