კულტურისა და ძეგლთა დაცვის სამინისტროში დრამატურგიული კონკურსის, „ახალი ქართული პიესა 2017-ის გამარჯვებულები დააჯილდოვეს.
საკონკურსო 18 პიესიდან ხუთკაციანმა ჟიურიმ სამი გამარჯვებული გამოავლინა. გამარჯვებულებს ფულადი პრემიები და ფონდის პრიზი „თუმანიშვილის ვაშლი” გადაეცათ.
ასევე, გამარჯვებული პიესები ითარგმნება გერმანულ ენაზე, გამოიცემა და 2018 წელს, ფრანკფურტის წიგნის საერთაშორისო ბაზრობაზე იქნება წარმოდგენილი.
პროექტი მეთორმეტე წელია არსებობს და მისი მიზანი თანამედროვე ორიგინალი და ნათარგმნი პიესების გამოვლენა და თეატრების რეპერტუარის გამდიდრებაა.
