პარლამენტმა პატიმრობის კოდექსსა და მის თანმდევ 20 კანონპროექტში ცვლილებების პაკეტი განიხილა.
სასჯელაღსრულების მინისტრის მიერ წარდგენილი ინიციატივა, გათავისუფლებისთვის მომზადების დაწესებულების შექმნას ითვალისწინებს, რომელშიც დაბალი რისკის ის მსჯავრდებულები განთავსდებიან, რომლებსაც გათავისუფლებამდე 6 თვე აქვს დარჩენილი. მათ, შესაძლოა, კვირაში მაქსიმუმ 3 დღე-ღამით დაწესებულების დატოვების უფლებაც მიეცეთ.
ასეთ დაწესებულებაში განთავსებულ მსჯავრდებულებს საბაკალავრო განათლების მიღების საშუალებაც ექნებათ.
ცვლილებები დარჩენილი სასჯელის შინაპატიმრობით შეცვალსაც ითვალისიწინებს, თუმცა სპეციალური მოწყობილების საჭიროებიდან გამომდინარე, ეს სერვისი, შესაძლოა, ფასიანი გახდეს.
პატიმრებს ყოველგვარი ნებართვის გარეშე შეეძლებათ ტელევიზორისა და რადიომიმღების შეძენა, ოღონდ მხოლოდ სასჯელაღსრულების დაწესებულებაში არსებულ მაღაზიებში.
ცვლილებების მიხედვით, მსჯავრდებულ ქალებს, რომელთა შვილებმაც 3 წლის ასაკის მიღწევის გამო, სასჯელაღსრულების დაწესებულება დატოვეს, ერთი წლის განმავლობაში, შაბათ-კვირას დაწესებულებიდან გასვლის უფლება მიეცემათ.
