თავდასხმა ყოფილ მაღალჩინოსანზე - გელა ხვედელიძეს ოპერაციას უტარებენ. შინაგან საქმეთა ყოფილი მინისტრის ყოფილ მოადგილეს ორი ნიღბიანი თარხნიშვილის 21 ნომერში, საკუთარ საცხოვრებელ კორპუსთან დაესხა თავს.
მოტივთან დაკავშირებით საკუთარი ვერსია აქვს გაზეთ ,,ქრონიკა პლუსის" რედაქტორს, რომელიც მომხდარში სუსის უფროსის მოადგილეს ადანაშაულებს და ფაქტს შურისძიებად აფასებს. თუმცა ამ ვერსიას გამორიცხავს დაზარალებულის მეუღლე, რომელიც შემთხვევის თვითმხილველია.
ხვედელიძე 2013 წლის მაისში პირადი ცხოვრების ამსახველი კადრების ინტერნეტ-სივრცეში გავრცელების ბრალდებით დააკავეს.
