საქართველოს სასჯელაღსრულებისა და პრობაციის მინისტრი კახა კახიშვილი ბრიუსელში, ნატო-ს შტაბბინაში შეხვედრებს მართავს.
ეს პირველი შემთხვევაა, როდესაც სასჯელაღსრულების მინისტრი ჩრდილოატლანტიკური ალიანსის შტაბბინაში მიიწვიეს.
კახა კახიშვილი გენერალური მდივანის , იენს სტოლტენბერგის თანაშემწეს პოლიტიკისა და უსაფრთხოების საკითხებში ალეხანდრო ალვარგონსალესს შეხვდა.
მინისტრი ნატო-საქართველოს კომისიის სხდომას დაესწრო და მიაწოდა ინფორმაცია ნატო-ს წარმომადგენლებს და პარტნიორებს საქართველოს პენიტენციურ სისტემაში არსებული ვითარების შესახებ.
"შეხვედრაზე განვიხილეთ ის რეფორმები, რომლებიც გატარდა სასჯელაღსრულებისა და პრობაციის სისტემაში საქართველოში. აღნიშნული იყო, რომ პროგრესი არის შთამბეჭდავი და ძალიან გვახარებს ჩვენ ეს გარემოება. ასევე გვქონდა ნატო-საქართველოს კომისიაში მოხსენება, იმ რეფორმების შესახებ, რომელიც ჩატარდა საქართველოში პენიტენციური კუთხით და ერთხმად იქნა აღნიშნული როგორც პოზიტიური“, - განაცხადა კახიშვილმა.
