31 მაისიდან 18 ივნისის ჩათვლით, საქართველო მსოფლიო რაგბის 20 წლამდელთა ჩემპიონატს უმასპინძლებს. მსოფლიო რაგბიში მნიშვნელობით მეორე ტურნირში 12 საუკეთესო ნაკრები გუნდი მიიღებს მონაწილეობას, მათ შორის უმცროსი ბორჯღალოსნებიც.
ასპარეზობის ჯგუფური ეტაპი თბილისსა და ქუთაისში გაიმართება. ფინალური მატჩი მიხელ მესხის სტადიონზე შედგება. ტურნირის დაწყებამდე ტრადიციულად მასპინძელ ქვეყანაში მსოფლიო რაგბის 20-წლამდელთა ჩემპიონატის თასის მოგზაურობა იღებს სტარტს.
მატჩებზე დასაწრები ბილეთების ონლაინ- რეალიზაცია დღეიდან იწყება. საქართველოში მსოფლიო ჩემპიონატის მთავარი პარტნიორია "თი-ბი-სი ბანკი".
მსოფლიო ჩემპიონატისთვის საჭირო ინფრასტრუქტურული პირობების შექმნაში დიდი როლი შეასრულა ფონდმა "ქართუმ". "ქართუ ჯგუფის" მიერ სარაგბო ბაზების, მოედნების და სპორტსმენებისთვის განკუთვნილი სასტუმროების მშენებლობისთვის გაწეული ხარჯი 100 მილიონ ლარს აღწევს.
