დღეს ფაშიზმზე გამარჯვების დღეა. უცნობი ჯარისკაცის მემორიალთან პატრიარქმა პანაშვიდი გადაიხადა.
ვაკის პარკში დილიდან ხალხმრავლობაა. მემორიალი ყვავილებით შეამკეს პოლიტიკოსებმა, ვეტერანებმა და რიგითმა მოქალაქეებმა.
თბილისის მერიამ ფაშიზმზე გამარჯვების დღესთან დაკავშირებით, 326 ვეტერანს 600-600 ლარი ჩაურიცხა.
პრეზიდენტისგან კი მეორე მსოფლიო ომის მონაწილეებს საჩუქრად მედიკამენტების ვაუჩერები გადაეცემათ.
ფაშიზმზე გამარჯვებიდან დღეს 72 წელი გავიდა. მეორე მსოფლიო ომს 60 მილიონამდე ადამიანის სიცოცხლე შეეწირა, მათ შორის მხოლოდ საქართველოდან 200 ათასი მოქალაქე დაიღუპა ან უგზო-უკვლოდ დაიკარგა.
