პარლამენტში საზოგადოებრივი მაუწყებლის სამეურვეო საბჭოს თავმჯდომარეს უსმენენ. გრიგოლ გოგელიამ პლენარულ სხდომაზე ტელევიზიის 2016 წლის ანგარიში წარადგინა და მაუწყებელში მოსალოდნელ და უკვე გატარებულ რეფორმებზე ისაუბრა. მათ შორისაა უცხოელი ექსპერტების მიერ მომზადებული მულტიმედიური ნიუსრუმის პროექტი, რომელიც ახლა ინერგება.
ყურადღება გამახვილდა მატერიალურ-ტექნიკური აღჭურვილობის განახლებაზე და იმ კვლევებზე, რომლებიც პროგრამული პრიორიტეტების გამოსავლენად ჩატარდა. გეგმაშია ახალ შენობაში, ტელევიზიის მესამე კორპუსში გადასვლა.
სხდომა კითხვა-პასუხის რეჟიმში გაგრძელდა, რა დროსაც დეპუტატები არხზე მიმდინარე რეორგანიზაციით, რადიო ,,თავისუფლების” პროექტების დახურვით და ახალი გადაცემების შესარჩევად მიმდინარე კონკურსით დაინტერესდნენ.
