თბილისის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელობის საერთაშორისო აეროპორტში აშშ-ის ვიცე-პრეზიდენტის მაიკ პენსის დახვედრის ოფიციალური ცერემონია გაიმართა. მაიკ პენსსა და მის მეუღლეს საქართველოს პრემიერ-მინისტრი გიორგი კვირიკაშვილი მეუღლესთან ერთად დახვდა.
პრემიერ-მინისტრის, გიორგი კვირიკაშვილის მოწვევით, აშშ-ის ვიცე-პრეზიდენტი მაიკ პენსი 2-დღიანი ვიზიტით ეწვია.
დღეს, აშშ-ის ვიცე-პრეზიდენტს, მეუღლესთან და დელეგაციასთან ერთად, საქართველოს პრემიერ-მინისტრი ოფიციალურ ვახშამზე უმასპინძლებს. ვახშამს საქართველოს პრეზიდენტი გიორგი მარგველაშვილიც დაესწრება.
ხვალ, პირველ აგვისტოს კი, საქართველოს მთავრობის ადმინისტრაციაში პრემიერ-მინისტრისა და აშშ-ის ვიცე-პრეზიდენტის შეხვედრა გაიმართება. შეხვედრის შემდეგ კი, პრესისთვის ერთობლივი განცხადებები გაკეთდება.
ამასთან, აშშ-ის ვიცე-პრეზიდენტი სწავლების „ღირსეული პარტნიორის“ მონაწილე სამხედროებს შეხვდება.
