Pence: US will strengthen sanctions on Moscow

(1 Aug 2017) US Vice President Mike Pence met with Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili in Tbilisi on Tuesday, bringing strong message of US support to the Caucasus nation.
"The United States of America strongly condemns Russia's occupation on Georgia's soil. The United States supports Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders," Pence said during a news conference following this meeting with Kvirikashvili.
He also added that "very soon" President Donald Trump will sign a legislation that will strengthen sanctions against Russia.
