გენდერული ბალანსის საკითხი პოლიტიკაში.
21 ოქტომბერს ქვეყანაში ადგილობრივი თვითმმართველობის არჩევნები ტარდება, თუმცა პოლიტიკაში ქალთა ჩართულობის საკითხი როგორც ადგილობრივი, ისე საერთაშორისო ორგანიზაციების მტკიცებით, პრობლემად რჩება. ეს მიმართულება კარგად ჩანს თელავის მოქმედ საკრებულოში, სადაც ამჟამად ქალი დეპუტატი არ ჰყავთ.
პრობლემა აწუხებთ თელაველ ქალებს, უფრო მეტიც, ისინი ამ პრობლემის მოგვარების გზებზეც ფიქრობენ. სწორედ ასე გაჩნდა ახალი ინიციატივა - დამოუკიდებელი ქალი კანდიდატი თელავის ყველა უბანზე! ინიციატივა, ჯერჯერობით, ინიციატივადვე დარჩა, ქალების ნაწილმა არჩევნებში მონაწილეობა გადაიფიქრა, თუმცა არსებობენ ისეთებიც, ვინც თელავის თვითმმართველობაში მოხვედრას კვლავაც აპირებენ.
ვინ არიან ეს ქალები და რისი შეცვლა სურთ მათ საკუთარ რეგიონში - ამის გასარკვევად სოფო ზედელაშვილი კახეთს სტუმრობდა.
