პრემიერ-მინისტრის, გიორგი კვირიკაშვილის დავალებით, შინაგან საქმეთა სამინისტროს სასაზღვრო პოლიციის ვერტმფრენმა თუშეთის მიმართულებით ყოველკვირეული რეისები განაახლა. ვერტმფრენმა სოფელ ალვანიდან სოფელ ომალოში, განახლებული რეისით, პირველი მგზავრები გადაიყვანა.
სასაზღვრო პოლიციის ვერტმფრენი საავტომობილო გზის ამოქმედებამდე, ადგილობრივი მოსახლეობის საჭიროებების უზრუნველსაყოფად, თუშეთში, სოფელ ომალოში, რეგულარულად, კვირაში ერთხელ იფრენს და მესაზღვრეებთან ერთად, ადგილობრივ მოსახლეობას მოემსახურება.
რთული გეოგრაფიული და მეტეოროლოგიური პირობების გამო, სოფელი ომალო 6 თვის განმავლობაში დანარჩენი საქართველოსგან მოწყვეტილია.
