მსოფლიო ჯანდაცვის ორგანიზაციის ინფორმაციით საქართველოში ჰაერის დაბინძურების ყველაზე მაღალი მაჩვენებელი დედაქალაქში ფიქსირდება.
ორგანიზაციამ შესაბამისი კვლევის შედეგები გაასაჯაროვა. სპეციალისტების ინფორმაციით, ყოველწლიურად მსოფლიოში ჰაერის დაბინძურების გამო 7 მილიონი ადამინი იღუპება. საგანგაშოა საქართველოს მონაცემი. არსებული ინფორმაციით ჰაერის დაბინძურება ჩვენთან 3500-მდე ადამიანის სიკვდილის მიზეზია.
