ტელე-რადიო კომპანია „რიონი“ 30 წლისაა .1989 წლის 7 მაისს მაუწყებლობა ეთერში ოფიციალურად გავიდა.პირველმა ქართულმა დამოუკიდებელმა ტელევიზიამ პირველი ნაბიჯი საკაბელო ტელევიზიით გადადგა.თავდაპირველად იყო ტელესტუდია რომელიც 1988 წელს შეიქმნა,შემდეგ კომერციულ ტელევიზიად დარეგისტრირდა ,დღეს კი ტელე-რადიო კომპანია „რიონი“ კომერციული სტუდიის სამართალმემკვიდრეა,რომელიც ეთერში 13 საკუთარი გადაცემით გადის.
