საქართველოს შეიარაღებული ძალების რეინჯერთა ბატალიონის ნაკრები ასეული ავღანეთიდან სამშობლოში დაბრუნდა. ასეულის პირად შემადგენლობას გენერალური შტაბის უფროსი, გენერალ-მაიორი ვლადიმერ ჩაჩიბაია და შეიარაღებული ძალების მთავარი სერჟანტი კობა ცირეკიძე თბილისის საერთაშორისო აეროპორტში დახვდნენ. გენერალური შტაბის უფროსმა ქართველ მშვიდობისმყოფელებს სამშობლოში მშვიდობით დაბრუნება და მისიის წარმატებით შესრულება მიულოცა.
ქვედანაყოფთან ერთად სამშობლოში ავღანეთში სამშვიდობო ძალების წარმომადგენლობაც დაბრუნდა.
ქართული ქვედანაყოფი „მტკიცე მხარდაჭერის“ მისიას შვიდი თვის განმავლობაში ასრულებდა. მათი მთავარი ამოცანა დედაქალაქ ქაბულში მდებარე „მტკიცე მხარდაჭერის“ მისიის მთავარი შტაბ-ბინის უსაფრთხოება და ბაზის პერიმეტრის კონტროლი იყო. რეინჯერთა ბატალიონის ასეული II ქვეითი ბრიგადის 21-ე ბატალიონის ნაკრებმა ასეულმა ჩაანაცვლა.
