გამოძიებამ დაადგინა, რომ თბილისსა და გორში მდებარე აფთიაქებში უკონტროლოდ ხორციელდებოდა ფსიქოტროპული საშუალებების რეალიზაცია. აღნიშნული აფთიაქების დირექტორები და ფაქტობრივი მფლობელები მატერიალური სარგებლის მიღების მიზნით, უნებართვოდ და სანებართვო პირობების უხეში დარღვევით, შესაბამისი რეცეპტის გარეშე ახდენდნენ ფსიქოტროპული და სპეციალურ კონტროლს დაქვემდებარებული მედიკამენტების რეალიზაციას, რითიც დიდი ოდენობით შემოსავალს იღებდნენ.
სახელმწიფო უსაფრთხოების სამსახურის ანტიკორუფციული სააგენტოს თანამშრომლებმა აღნიშნულ სისხლის სამართლის საქმეზე ჯამში პასუხისგებაში მისცეს 21 პირი, რომელთა მიერ უკანონო სამეწარმეო საქმიანობისა და ფსიქოტროპული საშუალებების ურეცეპტოდ რეალიზაციის შედეგად მიღებულმა შემოსავალმა საერთო ჯამში 4 094 709 ლარი შეადგინა.
