#ახალიამბებისულთმოფენობის დღესასწაულზე, ყოველწლიურად, ქვემო სვანეთში, ლენტეხის სოფელ ფაყში და სკალდის მთაზე, სახალხო რელიგიური დღესასწაული ფაყობა-სკალდობა იმართება. მომლოცველები ლენტეხის მუნიციპალიტეტის სოფელ ფაყში მდებარე და სკალდის მთავარანგელოზის სახელობის ტაძარში, რომელიც ზღვის დონიდან 2210 მეტრზე მდებარეობს, საქართველოს სხვადასხვა კუთხედან მიდიან.
ამ დღის განსაკუთრებულობა ის გახლავთ, რომ თუ ფაყში მდებარე ტაძარში ყველა მომლოცველს შეუძლია მისვლა, სკალდის მონასტერში ეს წესი მკაცრად განსაზღვრულია და იქ მხოლოდ მამაკაცებს აქვთ შესვლის უფლება. არსებობს მეორე უცნაური ტრადიციაც – როცა სასულიერო პირები ტაძარში წირვა-ლოცვას აღავლენენ, გარეთ, ეზოში ხალხს ე.წ. “სტაროსტები“ ლოცავენ. ეს ტრადიცია უძველესია და დღემდე შემორჩა ქვემო სვანეთის ამ დღესასწაულს.
