აუდიტის სამსახურის ინფორმაციით, COVID-19-ის პანდემიამ განათლების სისტემა ახალი გამოწვევების წინაშე დააყენა და სამსახურის მიერ ჩატარებული ეფექტიანობის აუდიტის მიხედვით, რომელიც იმის დასადგენად ჩატარდა, რამდენად უზრუნველყოფილი იყო საჯარო სკოლებში დისტანციური სწავლების ეფექტიანად წარმართვა.
აღმოჩნდა, რომ ერთ-ერთ მთავარ გამოწვევად რჩება ხარისხიანი განათლების ხელმისაწვდომობა, რადგან ქვეყნის მასშტაბით მოსწავლეების გარკვეულ ნაწილს არ გააჩნია დისტანციური სწავლებისთვის საჭირო რესურსები − კომპიუტერები და ინტერნეტი.
პრობლემა იყო ცალკეული საგნის პედაგოგებსი მხრიდან ერთდროულად რამდენიმე საგნის მასწავლებლობა, მათ შორის ისეთის რომელშიც შესაბამისი კომპეტენცია არ ჰქონდათ.

რა წინაპირობებია საჭირო იმისთვის, რომ საგანგებო მდგომარეობების დროს განათლება იყოს უწყვეტი ყველა მოსწავლისთვის და როგორ უნდა გაუმჯობესდეს განათლების ხელმისაწვდომობა, − რა მიგნებები აქვს სახელმწიფო აუდიტორებს და რა რეკომენდაციები მოამზადეს განათლების სამინისტროსთვის?
