საქართველოს რეგიონული განვითარებისა და ინფრასტრუქტურის სამინისტროს საავტომობილო გზების დეპარტამენტმა ჯვრის უღელტეხილიდან კობამდე გზის გაწმენდითი სამუშაოები, პრაქტიკულად, დაასრულა. ამჟამად, მიმდინარეობს აღნიშნული მონაკვეთის გაფართოება, რათა სატრანსპორტო საშუალებებმა უსაფრთხოდ შეძლონ გადაადგილება. მას შემდეგ კი, რაც გარემოს ეროვნული სააგენტოს მონაცემებით, გუდაური-კობის მონაკვეთზე ზვავსაშიშროება მოიხსნება, ავტოტრანსპორტის მოძრაობა აღდგება.
გუდაურში მოქმედ საკოორდინაციო შტაბს სახელმწიფო უსაფრთხოებისა და კრიზისების მართვის საბჭო ხელმძღვანელობს. მასში კი შინაგან საქმეთა, რეგიონული განვითარებისა და ინფრასტრუქტურის, გარემოსა და ბუნებრივი რესურსების დაცვის, ენერგეტიკის, შრომის, ჯანმრთელობისა და სოციალური დაცვის სამინისტროებისა და ადგილობრივი მუნიციპალიტეტების წარმომადგენლები შედიან.
