შვეიცარიის ქალაქ ლოზანაში, ევროპის მძლეოსნობის საერთასორისო კავშირის კონგრესი გაიმართა.
საქართველოს მძლეოსნობის ფედერაციამ 2020 წლის ევროპის ჩემპიონატის ჩატარების სურვილი ოფიციალურად გამოთქვა. თბილისის კონკურენტი პარიზი იქნება.
"ქართული მხარის გეგმა ძალიან ამბიციურია და კარგიც, ვინაიდან მძლეოსნობის პოპულარიზაციის მთავარი ამოსავალი წერტილი მისი გეოგრაფიის გაზრდა იქნება. საქართველოს შეუძლია ყველა მოთხოვნის დაკმაყოფილება და ვიცი, რომ მას საკმაოდ ძლიერი მხარდამჭერებიც ჰყავს. მე ნორვეგიელი ვარ და უნდა ვაღიარო, რომ მსგავსი ამბიციური გეგმა ნორვეგიასაც არ ჰქონია",- განაცხადა ევროპის მძლეოსნობის ფედერაციის პრეზიდენტმა, სუენ არნე ჰანსენმა.
ევროპის მძლეოსნობის ასოციაციის საბჭოს 17 წევრი საბოლოო გადაწყვეტილებას 2016 წლის აპრილში მიიღებს.
