ესტერ სტამი 70 კგ წონით კატეგორიაში საქართველოს ღირსებას დაიცავს. ჰოლანდიელი ძიუდოისტი ქართული დროშის ქვეშ 2014 წლიდან ასპარეზობს.
სტამი ახალგაზრდებში ევროპის ჩემპიონია. ასევე, მოგებული აქვს სამი მსოფლიო თასი და არაერთი გრანპრი. საქართველოს სახელით პირველი ოქრო ესტერმა ერთი წლის წინ, მადრიდიში გამართულ ევროპის ღია პირველობაზე მოიპოვა. მიმდინარე წლის აპრილში კი, ყაზანის ევროპის ჩემპიონატზე ვერცხლის მედალს დაეუფლა.
რიოს ოლიმპიადა ესტერ სტამისთვის სადებიუტოა. პირველ წრეში ის მონღოლეთის წარმომადგენელს - ნარანარგალ ცენდ-აიუშს დაუპირისპირდება. გამარჯვების შემთხვევაში კი, მეორე წრეში მას კანადელი კელიტა ჟუპანჩიჩი ელის.
