საქართველოს საგარეო საქმეთა სამინისტრო რუსეთს მოუწოდებს შეწყვიტოს ოკუპირებულ ტერიტორიებზე არსებული კულტურული ძეგლების დაზიანება. უწყებამ განცხადება გაავრცელა, სადაც ნათქვმია: „საგარეო საქმეთა სამინისტრო გმობს რუსეთის საოკუპაციო ძალების მიერ საქართველოს ისტორიული და კულტურული მემკვიდრეობის ძეგლების დაზიანების მორიგ ფაქტს, როგორც ქვეყნის სუვერენიტეტისა და ტერიტორიული მთლიანობის წინააღმდეგ მიმართულ ქმედებას და მოუწოდებს რუსეთის ფედერაციას, შეწყვიტოს ოკუპირებულ ტერიტორიებზე არსებული კულტურული ძეგლების დაზიანებისა და განადგურების პრაქტიკა.
აღნიშნული უკანონო ქმედება კიდევ ერთხელ მიანიშნებს საქართველოს ოკუპირებულ ტერიტორიებზე სამხედრო და ჰუმანიტარული კუთხით არსებულ უმძიმეს მდგომარეობაზე.
სამინისტრო მოუწოდებს ასევე საერთაშორისო თანამეგობრობას, სათანადო შეფასება მისცენ რუსეთის ფედერაციის უკანონო ქმედებებს და ყველა ღონე იხმარონ საქართველოს ოკუპირებულ რეგიონებში არსებული ისტორიული და კულტურული მემკვიდრეობის გადარჩენისა და დაცვის მიზნით.”- ნათქვამია განცხადებაში.
