საპატრიარქოს სიწმინდეების დაცვისა და მოძიების განყოფილების უფროსი, ეპისკოპოსი ვახტანგ ახვლედიანი მიიჩნევს, რომ ზუგდიდიდან ხობში ღვთისმშობლის კვართის შესაძლო გადატანის საკითხზე წმინდა სინოდმა უნდა იმსჯელოს. ამის შესახებ განცხადება ეპისკოპოსმა ახვლედიანმა ზუგდიდისა და ცაიშის ეპარქიის მიტროპოლიტის რეზიდენციაში სასულიერო და საერო პირებთან შეხვედრის შემდეგ განაცხადა.
როგორც ეპიკსოპოსმა ახვლედიანმა აღნიშნა, მან კვართის გადატანასთან დაკავშირებით არსებული ვითარება უნდა შეისწავლოს და გააკეთოს შეჯამება.
