მეოცე საუკუნის 20-იან წლებში თეატრალური საზოგადოება ახალმა იდეამ გააერთიანა - შექმნილიყო პირველი ქართული საბავშვო თეატრი.
სურვილი მალევე რეალობად იქცა. 1928 წელს თბილისში მოზარდმაყურებელთა თეატრი დაარსდა, რომელიც საიუბილეო თარიღს აღნიშნავს. რუსთაველის გამზირზე დაწყებული ისტორია, ასეულობით პრემიერა და სპექტაკლები, რომლებმაც თეატრს განსაკუთრებული მიღწევები მოუტანა.
თეატრის შექმნის და განვითარების წლებს დასის ძველი წევრები იხსენებენ.
