ჩვენ თითქმის ყოველდღე ვგრძნობთ ღვთის სიახლოვეს. სამწუხარო ის არის, რომ ჩვენ ნაკლებად ვხედავთ ჩვენს ცოდვას , ვიდრე სხვისას. რატომ ხდება ასე? ესეც ჩვენი ბუნების შედეგია, ესეც ადამისა და ევას დაცემის შედეგია. ცოდვის შედეგია. ერთი მღვდელმთავარი ამბობს: ,,ზოგს სურს დედამიწა იყოს სამოთხე, მაგრამ დედამიწა არის სამოთხიდან განდევნილთა ადგილი, განსაცდელის ადგილი.
